One Cup Coffee Maker Ultimate Guide: Everything you need to know

Coffee is one of the most common stimulants consumed by billions of people throughout the globe. If you are addicted to coffee then this guide will surely help you determine the best single cup coffee makers that you can buy for your home or personal office space. Before digging right into the products themselves let’s take a look at some of the most common reasons why people choose a coffee maker rather than doing the entire process manually.

Why Use a Coffee Maker

If you are planning to make a coffee cup manually then you need to do at least 5-6 steps to make a great cup. Imagine having to repeat the process over and over again every time you crave for some more.

Coffee Makers automate the entire process ensuring that you get a perfect cup every time you tune the switch on. The best part is that the machine can handle the right mixture as per your settings for every serving. As a matter of fact coffee makers are part of our daily lifestyle. With work pressure, course loads etc. there is simply not enough time to do things the old fashioned way.

Top 5 One Cup Coffee Maker Review

Check out our brief review of the top 5 one cup coffee maker on the market. We did a lot of research and testing and finally came up with these products based on the overall experience and the price point. You can also check out our full review section for more products.

Bunn-O-Matic MCU My Cafe Single-Cup Brewer

This is one of the prettiest looking coffee makers out there with a stainless steel finishing to the outer shell of the machine. Bunn-O-Matic My Café scores high in our review for a couple of reasons. First and foremost the entire device is very compact and allows you to place it just about anywhere on your house. The base that holds the coffee glass is quite large and board ensuring that you don’t need to balance or squeeze the cup you are using.

The machine makes a perfect cup of coffee (4to 14 ounces) as well as serves the purpose of a portable tea maker. There is a special pulse brew mode which makes the grains more refine and the entire coffee output is more aromatic. The main reason why we are recommending this product to any coffee addict is the fact that it’s simple to operate and serves the purpose of serving up your cup with a delicious treat every single time.

Overall Score – (4.4/5)

Keurig K75 Platinum Brewing System

The Keurig K75 coffee machine scores high in our review because of it’s overall features, functionality and price point. The most notable thing about the K75 Platinum is a bright blue LCD screen on the left side of the machine. The screen provides you with all the information that you need for brewing your perfect cup of coffee. It also allows you to change the time, choose the cup size and get notifications on whether the machine is ready for action. The right side consists of a large water storage area that also adds to the overall design aesthetics of the K75.

One thing that we didn’t like is the lack of any rinse mechanism and the machine kind of halts at the beginning of the brewing cycle to make the K-Cups moist before releasing the hot drink below.  The coffee tastes great although it lacks the density if you take your cup strong.  Don’t get us wrong here but the Keurig K75 is a great machine it’s just that we don’t recommend this to anyone who likes thick latte and stuff. The cleaning can be done fairly easily by opening the front tray and removing all your K-cups. You also have a small hinge at the bottom of the cup that can be opened to clear out any excess beverage that may have dripped during pouring. Overall the K 75 Platinum is a nice coffee maker and we recommend it to everyone looking for a reliable mild cup with the press the press of a button.

Overall Score – (4.3/5)

Senseo 7810 Single-Serve Gourmet Coffee Machine

This machine looks more like a jar rather than a conventional coffee maker. There are basically two parts where you have an overhead jug that does all the fancy stuff followed by a grilled coffee cup holder at the base. All the buttons for brewing are placed at the base of the holder allowing you to use them conveniently.  The water container is designed in such a way that it fits seamlessly with the arched design of the system. The container is easily detachable considering the complexity of the design involved.

The Senseo 7810 is best suited for making a quick cup that tastes premium. We think this device creates one of the best tasting coffees every single time. You can store it at a kitchen corner or even in your dining hall; the design ensures that the machine fits perfectly in every situation. Although there are a few rumors of a foul smelled coffee we can guarantee that we never found any such problems with our testing.
